The Ski Podcast shortlisted in the 2026 Travel Media Awards

The Ski Podcast has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Broadcast Programme of the Year’ category in the prestigious 2026 Travel Media Awards.

A judging panel made up of over 70 judges from leading travel businesses and travel media chose the finalists from hundreds of entries. The shortlist represents the “very best of travel journalism, photography and broadcasting”.

The Ski Podcast: Multiple Award Recognition

The Ski Podcast is a previous winner of the ‘Best Wintersports Podcast at the 2021 Sports Podcast Awards.

It has previously been shortlisted for both the 2023 Sports Podcast Awards (Wilderness Category) and 2023 Travel Media Awards (Broadcast Programme of the Year). The Ski Podcast was also nominated in the 2026 Podcast Tonight Awards.

The Ski Podcast is up against six other programmes, including last year’s winner.

Now in their 12th year, the Travel Media Awards celebrate “the writers, broadcasters, photographers, content creators and publications shaping travel storytelling today”. It’s a privilege to be included in this list.

The winners will be announced on Monday 26 October 2026.

The Ski Podcast was founded in September 2017 and has a back-catalog of over 325 episodes.

The Ski Podcast registers between 5,000 and 15,000 listens per episode. It is regularly at the top, or near the top of the Apple Podcast charts, and has over 3,000 subscribers on Spotify.
